I create house style guides that balance creativity with structure, translating brand identity into clear, usable rules. My focus is on consistency, accessibility, and practicality, covering logos, colours, typography, tone of voice and templates, so that anyone in an organisation can apply the brand with confidence.
Developing house style guides is a balance of creativity and structure: it’s not only about design, but also about creating tools that empower others. For WTOS Delft, this was especially rewarding as I could apply my skills to support a club I value, ensuring the brand is both professional and reflective of its dynamic and friendly spirit.
As a member of the promotions committee, I identified the need for consistent branding and worked with the board, who wanted communications to be uniform, professional, and accessible for all members. The result is a comprehensive style guide that sets out clear, practical rules across several key areas. It defines logo usage (when to apply the primary Tailmark logo versus the secondary Fox Icon), specifies the club’s colour palette and open-source typography, and establishes a friendly, dynamic tone of voice. To make implementation straightforward, the guide also includes downloadable assets such as logos and templates, enabling any member to apply the guidelines correctly and confidently.
This is currently a draft version and is being updated regularly to reflect feedback and evolving needs.
