This kit was designed for the UQ corporate team competing in the Brisbane Mt Coot-tha Burn race. The project came about after I was invited to join the team and was given the opportunity to create the kit's design.
The design aligns with the recent UQ brand refresh, with the primary colour being a vibrant purple inspired by the jacaranda blossoms that bloom across campus each spring. The accompanying colours are pulled from the university's official house style, carefully selected to complement the purple. The V-shaped chevron on the chest adds a modern, dynamic visual appeal and provides a flattering fit. To finalise the design for production, I used Photoshop to fill the manufacturer's template, ensuring a clear and attractive presentation for internal stakeholders.
Randomly generated triangular geometric patterns give a subtle touch
The unreleased 'stealth' version that never made it to the final design. The client selected the purple colour (as it was the primary house style colour) for the final version.
